Monochrome and Patterns

I put a touch of red in this post but monochrome was still dominant. And why don't you mix different patterns in one look? Mine were dots for the top, lace for the skirt, quilt for the bag, and suede for the shoes.

Top and skirt - Rumah Mode, Shoes - tltsn, Clutch - Mango, Earrings and Bracelet - Accessarie
Take a look at Accessarie's bracelet and earrings. They came in the same palette with my outfit (look how cute the dot earrings!) it was like the earrings and my top were meant to be together :p

The details of these cute earrings :)

The spade, the club, and the lady. Magnifique!

The beautiful package from Accessarie. Thanks <3!

Check the Accessarie page to see their cute collections. And also you can follow their twitter @Accessarie :)

And yeah, I changed my blog name from la femme to Style, Pose, and Tell. What do you think? I feel like it's more describe this blog. And that's what many fashion bloggers do. They style themselves, pose in front of the camera, and tell it to people by the blog. Am I right? :)

Anything Suede

I'm such a mood swing in style. I can be anything depends on my mood. If you see all my outfit posts, maybe I'm more into feminine style. But somehow I don't refuse to wear t-shirt and jeans only (hey, that's my college-everyday-style! haha) even a pair of boots (I hope I can feel winter season here so I can wear boots outside).

I found this suede fringe vest in my mom's closet (love her style). She told me she was a tomboy girl in her young age. Her favorite style was hippie slash cowboy style! No wonder because she was an art student. She bought this vest in Amsterdam on her last trip to Europe but she doesn't wear it yet until now. So I took it, wore it with basic white t-shirt and suede patch leggings.

I was thinking to wear boots for this outfit but it's too tomboy for me. So I chose these coral suede pumps to add the feminine style. And the bag, she's my current favorite bag. So I wear it all the time :) plus, the color tone matches the rest outfit. I added indian fringe necklace to finish the look.

My Decision

I told you before about what I wish for this year. Since now is still the beginning of the year, I want to make some changes this year. First of all, cutting my hair!! :))

Dress bought from FO in Bandung (forgot the name) and necklace bought in Bali

I've been had a long hair for... umm 3 years? Been wanted to cut it for almost a month ago, because the boredom and I want to start this year with something new! What do you think? :)

I just quit from my current job as a fashion reporter. Why? Many people asked that. "That's your passion!" they said. Yeeppp, but when I went through this thing, I feel like, I can do something bigger than this. Fashion is not only in magazine area. It's a big industry. And related to my major Industrial Engineering, I can use what I learnt from my study. My lecturer said that many Industrial Enginering graduates work in many different areas of job. Our power is to analyze. So, I want a job related to my passion and also to my major of study. Hope I will get it soon :)

But I learnt many things from the place I worked in. I learnt how to write articles, find images, style the product, style the model, loan many goods from many stores (that's the most tiring part! haha), arrange the photoshoot schedule for models, photographer, make up artist and hair stylist, find the photoshoot location, those all for making 10-12 pages of fashion spread. And I don't forget to mention attend the fashion event and write it into an article.

Maybe many people think this job is easy but trust me, you must be able to do multitasking job in a sort of time. Sounds so challenging, right? :)

But remember, it's a fashion thing so it's fun indeed! :p By attending fashion events, I met many fashion people, saw amazing fashion shows, and I really love the ambience from them. It's like... my world! My boss who is a senior fashion stylist, is a really nice person. He taught me how to work on fashion spread, to deal with the people, and the best thing is, he's still humble and appreciate of what I did. I'll never forget it, and saying goodbye to him was the one of the hardest goodbye, besides the goodbye part with all my friends there :')

Well, this is my decision and I want to live my life again with many things I wanna do. First of all by do blogging again (oh how I miss this so much! I miss all lovely bloggers!), do blog-walking to many interesting blogs, improve my sense, browsing many things I left behind, eat a lot! (I need a lot of weight oh geez please help me! lol) those are the things I want to do now. So, anyone can give me a lei as a welcome sign to blog world again? :)

Much love <3 <3 <3

Late Birthday Post

Wow, it's been a long time huh? :)
So many things I want to share, but maybe this worth as the first. My birthday was on January 1st (omg almost 2 months ago! haha and yes it's on New Year!), I celebrated it a little with family in my house.

Grateful. One word that describes everything. I learn so much from my life, yes until now I'm still. Family, boyfriend, friends, all the things I did, they're the greatest things.

With my lovely grandma. She'd been taken care of my childhood. Love her so much :')

Blow the candles!

Red dress from shopatvelvet. Finally I got that dress :D

OMG 24! I feel old :( hahaha!

The Three Generations (me, grandma, and mom)

With my mom's big family :)
24 is my new age and I feel so old hahaha :p but that thing wakes me up! It's like a slap to me, hey you have to improve yourself, and yes, I want to do that. Maybe I will share the rest on my next post :)

My wish(es) for this year as a birthday and new year wish is.. I just want to be a better person for myself, my family, and for the people I love. I want to make them proud from what I'm doing. That's it.

What's your wish this year? :)

Silly Polka

Outfit post finally! :D
Have been so excited to post this. I already did the photo shoot last last week but had no time to do the posting. Soooo, here it goes!

I know, it's already Spring/Summer 2012 in New York Fashion Week but since I'm a bad blogger (you know why I'm calling myself a bad blogger), let me show you a glance about Fall/Winter 2011. Repeat, a glance. I will not talk about all trends on F/W, because I'm talking about dots. Dots were everywheeeree I think! I always think that dots are made just for little girl, but hey! look the runways!

images from style.com
So, what's the story about my outfit? I found this last piece dress on the store and I have the best price! The price was less than a half of the original price. Great deal, right? ;)

I found the shoes right after I bought the dress. Simple t-bars.

I was looking for pearl necklace but I didn't find in my mom's closet and turned out finding that heavy blue stones.

Polka wants to have fun! Let the bright color suits the polka!

Why don't you try blue eyeliner like mine? :)

I was too lazy to wear lipstick. So I chose red.

(Polkadot dress: Topshop, t-bar shoes: Payless, necklace & belt: mom's closet, bag: Mango, ring: tltsn)
Have fun with Polka!

Such A Blessing!

Oh God I'm a bad blogger!

I feel so terrible. I've been such a bad blogger because I didn't post anything for almost 2 months :(
You know how I missed my blog soooooo much. Time flies so fast. I'd graduated and a few weeks later I got a job. My dream job, actually :) Can't stop saying "Thank God" :')

Well, what I can tell about my job is.. so fun yet tiring! Because of my non-related educational background with this job, I have to learn from zero. Yup, my purpose is learn something from this job, not just work. So yeah, I'm a junior fashion reporter. An industrial engineer is becoming a fashion reporter now. Sounds weird? ;)

That my-dream-job thing is blessing #1

Blessing #2 ?

A girl named Zheta made me some drawings. And they're beautiful! Actually that was the 1st time someone made a picture for me, so I'm so flattered *blushing* thank u sweetheart!

Blessing #3?
Thanks to Glisters and Blisters for telling me this! :) I was on 5th rank from Top 100 Bloggers Teen Vogue Fashion Click (now I'm on 6th rank) but still, I'm speechless for this because I'm a bad blogger, right? LOL.
This is like a slap to me "where the hell are u?" hahahahhh but hey, thank you so much for all :')

Thanks for reading, and I'll feel so much blessed if you keep reading mine :p thanks once again. Happy fasting, enjoy the weekend, and I love you! :*
