Mint Breeze

How are you blogosphere? How's life treating you? Mine is great! Living the life with dreams and beautiful plans. I'm on my way there, Bismillahirrahirrahmanirrahiim (In the name of Allah, The Most Beneficent, The Most Merciful). To get there, I have to prepare myself, learn to be a better person, a better woman. Because my dream is to be a great woman, a great life partner for my great man. Because we know, we will be the greatest, the coolest ever! :) I'm so excited with all beautiful plans. Our dream is on its way. Amin :)

I just realized that I've bought many green clothes (mint, to be exact) lately, as you see in this post, too. My favorite is the pants. They're pleats, wide, and mint! :D My eyes attracted to this color, just like when I saw mint-brocade-fabric in a fabric store. Right at first sight, I knew this color would be the color of my engagement kebaya :)  

Have been looking for big, edgy earrings. And I found them. Happy!

Serendipity

One of my good friends asked me on messenger:

 “Well, give me an update of what you’ve been doing for the past year since we last talked.”

And I said:

“Wow, so many things happened.”

I really want to share everything but too many stories to be told on messenger. I am not the extrovert type, but now, I always feel like want to share everything, especially the happiness. I think that always happen when someone feels happy and grateful. Who knows that someone I met six months ago, now is someone that I want to share and restart my life with.

This is finally my latest outfit post since The Mustard Effect. Quick styling, quick photo shoot. These two detachable collars are some of handmade collections by my aunty and me (will work on it again soon!). The first one is white-silver-sequined shirt collar; give the edgy touch of the total look, and the second one is red-sequined peterpan collar; give the preppy and feminine touch.

Ultra Summer Love

I'm so happy! About two weeks ago, my family and I went to Singapore to have 4-days trip. It's been a long time we didn't do a family vacation so we were so excited! :) Universal Studio should be our first stop, but because the delay thing, we changed the plan and headed to The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands. 

 

The good thing was, there were two exhibitions at ArtScience Museum that located in front of The Shoppes. Andy Warhol: 15 Minutes Eternal aaaaand Harry Potter: The Exhibition! :) The Andy Warhol exhibition was full of pop arts and graphic works. I could feel the fun ambience, youth spirit and it was amazing! Too bad we can't take any pictures inside the exhibition. 

I was so excited entering Harry Potter: The Exhibition! :) The guide asked us to follow her to enter Hogwarts and asked a volunteer to be chosen by the Sorting House. It was fun! And after that we entered room by room and we can see many properties and costumes from the movie. I couldn't stop saying "oh my, this is soo cute" hihi. But still, we can't take any pictures inside the exhibition :(

By the night, we went to Singapore Flyer to see Singapore night view.

Since we were in Singapore, we did a lot of walking and we took MRT as our transportation (and taxi for the last days, we're too tired to walk :p). It was quite challenging to me to look on map and find the MRT route to go to different places :)

On second day, we visited Mustafa and did shopping there. Before Friday prayer, we headed to Haji Lane street. My mom and I strolled around there while my father and brothers did the Friday prayer at Sultan Mosque. Yes there are so many cute little stores there! :)

Then we went to Merlion Park and all I can say was it was a super hot day! I felt like I wanna jump to the river and swim hihi :) 

On our third day, we went to Universal Studio yeaaayy! :) Too bad my parents couldn't join because they're too tired, so there were just me and my brothers.

After a tiring-but-fun trip to USS, we decided to go to Clarke Quay and met my parents there to have early dinner.

Finally we went back home on our fourth day and I missed my hometown so much. So that's it, my story from my lovely family trip. I hope you all had as much fun as I did on your vacation! Thanks for reading :)

Unexplained

No outfit post for this time, I mean a bunch of pictures of me wearing any outfit. I just want to share the similar look, using polyvore.

That was the look from my last hangout outfit. Two occasions in one day, first with the bloggers and second with a new friend :) I chose the shoes in different color tone with the rest of the outfit, to make the shoes as a statement. What do you think?

The Mustard Effect

My mustard pants just made my day. It's like a saviour to me. I wanted to take the photoshoot outside before, but the sun didn't give me a chance to get closer. So I put the sunshine on my pants. Voila!

I found the belt in my mom's closet, and I love it so much.

My Decision

I told you before about what I wish for this year. Since now is still the beginning of the year, I want to make some changes this year. First of all, cutting my hair!! :))

I've been had a long hair for... umm 3 years? Been wanted to cut it for almost a month ago, because the boredom and I want to start this year with something new! What do you think? :)


I just quit from my current job as a fashion reporter. Why? Many people asked that. "That's your passion!" they said. Yeeppp, but when I went through this thing, I feel like, I can do something bigger than this. Fashion is not only in magazine area. It's a big industry. And related to my major Industrial Engineering, I can use what I learnt from my study. My lecturer said that many Industrial Enginering graduates work in many different areas of job. Our power is to analyze. So, I want a job related to my passion and also to my major of study. Hope I will get it soon :)


But I learnt many things from the place I worked in. I learnt how to write articles, find images, style the product, style the model, loan many goods from many stores (that's the most tiring part! haha), arrange the photoshoot schedule for models, photographer, make up artist and hair stylist, find the photoshoot location, those all for making 10-12 pages of fashion spread. And I don't forget to mention attend the fashion event and write it into an article. 


Maybe many people think this job is easy but trust me, you must be able to do multitasking job in a sort of time. Sounds so challenging, right? :)


But remember, it's a fashion thing so it's fun indeed! :p By attending fashion events, I met many fashion people, saw amazing fashion shows, and I really love the ambience from them. It's like... my world! My boss who is a senior fashion stylist, is a really nice person. He taught me how to work on fashion spread, to deal with the people, and the best thing is, he's still humble and appreciate of what I did. I'll never forget it, and saying goodbye to him was the one of the hardest goodbye, besides the goodbye part with all my friends there :')


Well, this is my decision and I want to live my life again with many things I wanna do. First of all by do blogging again (oh how I miss this so much! I miss all lovely bloggers!), do blog-walking to many interesting blogs, improve my sense, browsing many things I left behind, eat a lot! (I need a lot of weight oh geez please help me! lol) those are the things I want to do now. So, anyone can give me a lei as a welcome sign to blog world again? :)
