Red Zebra

I was taking this pictures maybe a week ago, before my boyfriend picked me up to date. I think I'm getting more skinny because I found the skirt is too loose for me :(( (it was quite fit in a few months ago). Anyway, what I love about this look is how comfortable the zebra top and the black cardigan. The shoes? I just love the color, but I just realized they hurt me! So I put some tissues, fold them, and put them under my foot (not in front of the foot). I thought it hurts because the price of the shoes only costs about $25, hehehe. Okay, should find another good quality shoes.

Yeah, on the right pose you can see I was pulling back the skirt because it's too loose, haha.

(Unbranded zebra top and skirt (I bought them from factory outlet), Zara black cardigan, Mango red bag, The Little Things She Needs red pumps, mix accessories)

Pleated Skirt ft. Clogs and Socks

It was a random night. Suddenly I messed up my mom's closet and found the brown turtleneck, black pleated skirt, blue belt, and the vintage clutch.

I paired my new clogs with grey socks. Some friends thought it was cute, the others thought it was weird!! Haha, how do you think, huh?

Lazy Day

I've been so laaaaazy this day. All I did was:
  1. Woke up at about 9 this morning.
  2. Only a cup of tea and a slice of martabak for breakfast.
  3. Had not-so-full lunch, but I was too lazy to eat more.
  4. Blog-walking ALL DAY. Sorry to my laptop, you've been charging for almost a day (actually I took off the battery).
  5. Played PopSugar's Retail Therapy on Facebook.
  6. Took a really really really late shower. (it's Sunday, right?)
  7. Asked my maid to make me some toasts for dinner.
  8. Keep asking myself,  "when will you work for your thesis?" and something inside my brain and my heart keeps telling, "we can do it tomorrow".
But thank God I did the blog-walking. It worked for expanding my horizons about this-fashion-blogger-thingy. Until now I feel like, why didn't I do this a long ago? Sigh.

When Passion Meets Chances

My boyfriend told me about that: success is when passion meets chances. I was sooooo excited when Mbak Mora, the web editor from Gogirl! sent me a message on facebook, asked me if I want to be a fashion tips-contributor for Gogirl Website. I don't know, maybe she asked me because a moment before it, I was uploading my picture for Fashion Tag Competition (and I won Fashion Tag of The Week on 2nd week of April, wish me luck for the next competition: Fashion Tag of The Month or maybe Fashion Tag of The Year, so I can go to Bangkok! :D). And after read that message, my brain was full of ideas. What should I write for Gogirl? Mbak Mora told me that I can take a look another fashion tips on Gogirl! Website so maybe I would know what kind of article I should write.
And suddenly the idea came up. I want to write something about platform wedges. I found that platform wedges were worn by many girls on lookbook, many designers made it for their collections, and many online shops sell them too. And I feel that platform wedges is the new "it" shoes right now! So I wrote about it and send it to Mbak Mora. Few days later, she told me that she likes my article and want to publish it later. So this is my 1st time I wrote an article for media and it was published. Big smile :D

How to Wear Platform Wedges

I was sooo excited when I read my own article (I don't know how many times I say "I was so excited" hahaha) but I just feel like.. Oh God, I want to do this so bad, please give me another chance to do what I want to do. There are many girls out there want to do this too, maybe what I did was just a common thing. But for me, it's blessed :)
Thank you Mbak Mora for giving me this chance. It's like an opening gate to me to work in fashion industry. I want to write more fashion articles. Can't wait to graduate soon and do the things, the job I'm dying to work in. Can't wait to apply the internship in fashion magazine. Yes, I want those experiences. I'm craving for that. And I hope one day I will be a fashion stylist then fashion editor in a fashion magazine :)

Have you tried this cool application? It's from Freshlook Indonesia, you have to try it!
First, you have to click this link Freshlook Indonesia and log in or sign up. Then they will ask you a few questions about what do you want for the transformation, what color do you prefer, is it subtle, or bold color.

And this is the instant eye make over with Freshlook :)

I've tried many colors like blue, green, hazel, and gray. But I think gray and this True Sapphire suits me best :)
