Beauty Rituals

I always want to share about my daily routines when it comes to beauty rituals. I think it's important for all women to take care their inner and outer beauty. I won't talk or give you a speech about inner beauty because the important thing is; you are happy and have positive energy within yourselves. And the rest, which is the outer beauty, all we have to do is taking care what God has given to us; our body. Beside exercise and eat healthy food; we also have to taking care the outermost part of our body, the skin. I'm not a typical person who go to dermatologist, because thankfully I don't have a serious skin problem, it just I have a really dry skin. So I just have to moist it all the time, whether the face and body skin.

1.   For daily routines, after taking shower I usually apply Yardley Rose Body Lotion. It does quite moisturize for body lotion and it has a nice rose smell too :)
2.   I prefer to choose a gently facial wash like this Nivea Refreshing Cleansing Foam for my normal-dry face skin.
3.   This is the must-have product when you live in a equatorial country. My mom always reminds to apply this product before, whenever you go out and face the sunlight. Nivea Sun Moisturising SPF 50. The better thing is it has collagen protect! Super protections!
4.   Whatever your skin type is, always use moisturizer. I'm using L'oreal White Perfect Lotion, right before the sunscreen.
5.   It's optional to have two different products for moisturizer. Kind of use it too sometimes. Olay Natural White Day Cream with SPF 24.
6.   When we're sleeping, that's the best time for skin to regenerate the cells. So always apply this night cream, Olay Natural White Night Cream to give some nutrition during the regenerate process. The effect won't be instant. Just see when we're getting old, I bet we all still have that moist skin! :)

After the skin care routines, when we have to go out and meet some people, I think there's no harm to wear makeup. And who doesn't want to look pretty right? :) Just do it natural for daily activities.

7.   Since I have a dark area under my eyes and I found it's genetic, I have to use concealer on that area. I'm using Max Factor Pan Stik in True Beige. I like the color, it really suits my skin tone.
8.   Another must-have product, MAC Studio Fix. I’m using NC30 tone and it’s perfect! Picture tells :)
9.   When you want to make your face popped, choose one part that you want to be highlighted. I always choose my eyes :) So eyeliner is an important tools to make them popped. I’m using L’oreal Super Liner Ultra Precision. The thin brush makes the line you draw beautifully prĂ©cised.
10. I found that eyebrows can make your whole face look defined. So shape your eyebrows naturally and you will see the different :) I’m using Clarins Eyebrow Pencil in Light Brown. Really love this pencil because it suits my eyebrow color, it has solid and soft texture, and it has a comb-brush too on the other side of the pencil. Perfectly shaping the eyebrows!
11. Before applying the mascara, this eyelashes curler will help the eyelashes to stand out! :)
12. My favorite mascara of all time, Maybelline Magnum Volum’ Express. It has to be in every make up case. I love the yellow-purple colors of the bottle, too!
13. Pink doesn’t match with my cheeks tone. So I always use the orange-ish color for my cheeks. And this Bourjois Blush in Tomette always be the winner.
14. Every girl must use lip balm. It’s a major turn off seeing really chapped lips. Choose the fruity flavor so you can lick it too :p I’m using The Body Shop Raspberry Born Lippy. Yummy!
15. I’ve been using this Revlon Lipstick in Ginger Rose for years. The natural pink-ish color always helps me in every occasion. Do you notice the shape of my lipstick? Every lipstick shape has psychological meanings, by the way :p
16. Well, this is not a makeup product :p But when I go out I always wear this perfume, and it makes me smile :) Alien by Thierry Mugler

This is my face without makeup, the "Before" :)

So, let's see the steps for my natural daily makeup!

Apply the moisturizer all over your face, and your neck too.

Use your finger to apply the concealer, apply it on the dark area under the eyes and any dark spots on your face. Don’t smudge it, just tap the concealer until it blends seamlessly with your skin.

Apply the powder and don’t forget to coverage all face and neck area. You don’t want to see the different skin tone between your face and your neck, right?

Start to draw the line on your upper eye lines. Mine is a lil’ bit winged shape, not too much.

While waiting a few moments for the eyeliners to dry, brush the eyebrows with eyebrow brush so the shape will naturally define. Draw the empty space with soft strokes.

Curl your eyelashes with the curler. Hold it for about 10 seconds for each side.

Apply the mascara to your eyelashes from roots to outer side with zig-zag moves.

Smile! Apply the blush on your cheeks while you are smiling. It will define the cheek bones :)

And for the last, apply the yummy lip balm then the lipstick. Take a facial tissue and fold it in half. Hold it with your lips smoothly and the color will last longer.

And voila this is the result! The "After".

Thanks for reading :)

Unexplained

No outfit post for this time, I mean a bunch of pictures of me wearing any outfit. I just want to share the similar look, using polyvore.

The Statement

That was the look from my last hangout outfit. Two occasions in one day, first with the bloggers and second with a new friend :) I chose the shoes in different color tone with the rest of the outfit, to make the shoes as a statement. What do you think?

Random thoughts today:
"Have you ever felt happy and sad at the same time?"
"Yes."
"Feel confused?"
"Yes. Help me."
(talk to myself)
